ist eine hochperfomante Securityplattform im
Gigabitbereich, die umfangreiche Funktionalitäten
bietet und SonicWALL s PRO Serie - bestehend aus der
PRO 2040, PRO 3060 und der PRO 4060 - im
Highend-Bereich ergänzt.
Die

The
SonicWALL PRO 5060 provides:
Comprehensive Multi-layer Security.
Based on SonicWALL's ultra-high performance Deep Packet
Inspection architecture, the PRO 5060 provides
everything needed for secure connectivity by integrating
SonicWALL's suite of security services including
intrusion prevention, content filtering and
gateway-enforced anti-virus without the need to
integrate separate devices.
High-performance Architecture.
The PRO 5060 includes a powerful Xeon main processor and
two security processors that deliver over 1 Gbps of
Stateful Firewall throughput, as well as 500 Mbps of
3DES or AES VPN throughput.
Industry-leading Intrusion Prevention.
The PRO 5060 integrates SonicWALL's Intrusion Prevention
technology, which features a configurable, ultra-high
performance Deep Packet Inspection engine that uses
parallel searching algorithms up through the application
layer to deliver increased attack prevention
capabilities over those supplied by traditional stateful
packet inspection firewalls.
Integrated WLAN Services.
The PRO 5060's distributed WLAN capabilities allow easy
integration of advanced WLAN services within the
existing network and security architectures. Utilizing
SonicWALL's SonicPoint satellite access points,
organizations can offer wireless guest services,
AP-to-AP roaming, wireless intrusion detection and more.
Comprehensive Bundling.
The PRO 5060 bundles many of SonicWALL's security
service and support options including: 1 year Intrusion
Prevention Service, 90 days 8x5 support, 90-day 50-user
Network Anti-virus, 90-day unlimited-user Content
Filtering Service (Standard Edition), 2,000 Global VPN
Client licenses and ViewPoint Reporting Software.
Powerful Central Management. SonicWALL's award-winning
Global Management System provides network administrators
with the tools for simplified configuration, enforcement
and management of global security policies, VPN and
services, all from a central location.
ISP Fail-over.
The PRO 5060 ensures continuous uptime for Internet and
IPSec VPN connectivity by failing over to a second ISP
link should the primary link fail. Through ISP Fail-Over,
the PRO 5060 delivers highly reliable network
connectivity for constant access to critical data.
WAN Redundancy and Load Balancing.
The PRO 5060 offers the ability to configure a secondary
WAN port, delivering highly reliable network
connectivity and robust performance. This secondary WAN
port can be used in "active-active" load sharing or
fail-over configuration providing a highly efficient
method for maximizing total network bandwidth.
Object-based Management.
The PRO 5060 provides the ability to define an object
such as a user group, network, service or interface.
When security policies change, the administrator can
modify the pre-defined object and propagate the changes
instantly without redefining rules, enabling businesses
to implement and manage security policies easily and
consistently.
Policy-based NAT.
While continuing to provide standard NAT (many-to-one)
functionality, the PRO 5060 also exposes control of NAT
policies to administrators for one-to-one NAT,
many-to-many NAT, one-to-many NAT, inbound Port Address
Translation (PAT), flexible NAT (for overlapping IP
addresses) as well as NAT policies on selective source/destination/source
translations. As a result, network administrators have
more control and flexibility to support and manage
various NAT requirements.
Hardware Fail-over.
When in "Hardware Fail-over" mode, should the active
unit fail, the passive unit assumes responsibility for
forwarding traffic, offering greater reliability and
redundancy
